Included are current and retrospective financial statements, long-term debt, corporate history, property, subsidiaries, officers and directors, and annual reports from globally listed companies. . The “Mergent Private Company Search” tab provides access to Dun and Bradstreet's Million Dollar Directory, containing brief information. For a large selection of U.S. and international publicly-traded companies Mergent Online provides profitability, liquidity, debt-management, asset-management and per-share ratios. Connect to the Mergent Online basic search page. In the company search box, Enter ticker or company name, and select the desired company. At the company home page select Financials, then Ratios.

Factiva, a Dow Jones & Reuters Company, provides access to global and local newspapers, magazines, industry-specific journals and newsletters, newswires, media programs, and websites. Financial reports are available for public companies (balance sheet, cash flow, income statements, key ratios, etc.) Current quotes and market data are available. Factiva, also provides standard ratios on relative valuations; financial strength; profitability; effectiveness and efficiency, for a large selection of U.S. and international companies. Select the Companies/Markets tab, and search by either company name or ticker. In the left menu of the company snapshots screen, select Financial Results. Select Key Ratios from the drop-down menu.
Lexis/Nexis Academic focuses primarily on business, legal and news resources. Included in the database are law reports, company filings, journal and newspaper articles, broadcast transcripts, etc.
LexisNexis Academic may provide valuation, operational and earnings ratios for a large selection of publicly-traded U.S. and international companies. One effective way to access company ratios: In the Get Company Information box, type the company name or ticker and click GO. From the results, select the appropriate public company's name. In the left menu of the company Snapshot screen, select Financials, then Overview. Scroll down to the Ratios section.
FP Advisor provides corporate and investment information on publicly traded Canadian companies in varied search options, including Company Snapshots. Try the FP Analyzer option for access to several sets of ratios (including betas), financial statement items, and market data for the top 1,500 publicly traded companies. Ten years of data are provided. Investor Reports provides access to ratios for the top 450 publicly traded, as well as I/B/E/S estimates and VSC recommendations. Seven years of data are provided. Corporate Surveys provides a small selection of standard financial ratios (including 60-mth Beta), for all 3,600 listed active Canadian companies, as well as certain available information on unlisted (private) FP 500 companies.
